Today was such a blessed day!..Thank you Lord
Today is my 30th birthday and I just knew it was gonna be a bad day...I had been dreading today for awhile. I thank the Lord so much for my amazing family and friends...I was surprised with this beautiful blog set up my beautiful little sister..and she involved my family and friends, and even my daughter to show me that I am loved. Thank you all so much for loving me...you guys are the reason I wake up and smile every morning. Thank you all for believing in me and knowing that I'm strong enough to push through...But without my family, friends and God I wouldnt be able to. Anyway this is my first posting and I wanted to dedicate it to all of you that created it..and thank you from the bottom of my heart...Lil Sis..you did a wonderful job and I know what I have to do to better myself...thank you for doing this for me as a stepping stone to become stronger and closer..I love you so much...

Charisse is 30 today!
30 Years ago today my sister, Charisse Ann Crick was born at 3:04pm weighing in at 7lbs 10oz and she was 19in long. Today as we celebrate her I wanted to give her something special. Something worth meaning, something she can reflect on everyday. Something she can journal about and see God's hand in and all around her. Oh sweet sister of mine. I love you! I pray that you will keep this going. I pray that you will turn the TV off and all electronically devices, all the worldly stuff that the enemy constantly throws your way to get you down and off tract. I pray that you will take more time and read God's love letter to YOU. I cant tell you enough how it has changed me..I know it will you too! I cant wait to see you and Caitlin on here. Charisse,As I have told you before, not only have I found the love of my life in your brother, I have found an amazing friend and “sister” in you. You are such a beautiful, strong woman and I am so blessed to know you. I know at times you don’t have much faith in yourself, but you can never forget to simply believe. You are so much more of a person than you give yourself credit for. There is no need for you to worry about the past. You just need to keep looking forward and know that there are many better days ahead of you.

Every time I hear this song, I think of you. Always remember what the Lord has done for you and is continuing to do in your life. He is constantly working, and although sometimes you feel like He is not answering your prayers, you have to remember that your plans for your life and the things you want are not always in accordance with His will, but His will is in the best interest of your heart and His as a whole.
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9
I love you so much and I am so happy to be a part of your life. You are amazing and I don’t know where I would be without you. By the way, you need to stop biting your nails, which you are doing very loudly on the couch next to me right now.
